1. My something beautiful
My husband Albert is my something beautiful. He has the most beautiful soul. His love is unconditional. He has been my rock and together we have created a beautiful family and life together.
I remember his confidence when we first met, his nurturing embrace through difficult early times, his positive reinforcement on long nights with our children and love his unconditional and unwavering support. I value his work ethic, love for family and friends and I continue to be the best woman I can be in his company. |
2. My morning routine
2amish arrival of little man in my bed, kicked, poked and prodded before kicking him out of my bed. 430 alarm for husband wakes the entire household. Kids run into my bed when 'daddy didn't give me a kiss goodbye.' Glorious morning cuddles and kisses with my beautiful babies. A toilet visit for me, a couple of wiped little bottoms. Transformers or power rangers are usually on before 6am. Mummy snoozes until 630ish. Breakfast served around 7. First fight about getting ready for school around 730. Both children dressed and ready to leave the house, kitchen tidied, washing on before 8am. Quick shower at 8, school walk drop off 820ish then reading groups or the gym depending on the day of the week. Monday and Tuesday see me rise with sparrow farts at 550 and we leave at 7am for me to get to work and drop kids of at daycare and before and after school care. |
3. What I wore today...
Happy Friday. The morning begins with a Target singlet, similar to the ones I make my five year old wear. Quick change into my new Under Armour black & purple tights, purple singlet top, YMCA grey hoodie, white socks and blue joggers for my workout. Comfy jeans and a cream shirt for this afternoons assembly. No doubt I'll be back into my love heart flannelette pjs around five.

My home makes me happy. It is the place where I began to be a grown up. It is my families home, where Albert and I raise our beautiful children. It is cozy, homely and full of precious memories. It is the place where we can be ourselves and enjoy the most important things to us.
Day five sees me appreciating my home even more. Rainy day, pjs on, family time and the joy of kindergarten homework. |

The ability to manipulate time. I would love to be able to go back to those moments in times that seemed to short or slow down time to enjoy something for longer.

I am not a regular blog reader, but I did enjoy visiting Chyka.com and I love Pinterest for its endless inspiration.
